the yabba's
"My first impressions of Yabbadabbadoo was what a ridiculously long name it was for an organiser to deal with so I immediately shortened it to The Yabba's in my notes and in my head. (They came around to my way of thinking eventually.)
My second impression was - boy, this band is your ultimate good time,"let's all have a party" band. Within a few bars of their opening number the dance floor was full and you could actually feel the vibrations as everyone jumped and danced along.
My third impression was how friendly and obliging each and every one of them were. None of your rude egotistical posturing from them - if they could help us out as, organisers we just had to ask. Which was exceedingly nice and exceedingly rare."

It is fair to say if you want a bunch of lads handy with their instruments, then these are the guys for you.
I've
seen them all over the place - small intimate gigs in town pubs when
I've least expected it to grand scale charity bashes or celebrity
parties.
Wherever the Yabba's turn up - and they seem to turn up
everywhere - they quickly get the crowd behind them and it is not long
before dancefloors are filled with the young and the old thanks to
their mix of music.
So I can offer no better recommendation than
to say if you are organising a party, a charity event (they played at
the Whitby Gazette Pride of Whitby awards - one of many charity nights
they have pledged their support to) or you want your pub to host a
lively gig with a great bunch of lads, the Yabba's are the band for you.
All this despite the lead singer Mr Wales' penchant for Leeds United ...
